The mountains of Utah and a new animatronic costume combine to celebrate the 80th birthday and legacy of an American icon

To celebrate Smokey’s milestone birthday, the Forest Service wanted to produce a history-spanning commercial.  Crooked River partnered with the costume building and animatronic experts at Alterian to redesign the existing suit.  And after considering several venues chose the mountains outside Salt Lake City in which to stage this retrospective :60 spot shot alongside 2 PSA scripts.  Period wardrobe and art direction plus gorgeous cinematography clinch the final look.
