Three-day VFX elements capture and cruise ship shoot synergize for launch of new Disney ship fleet

The challenge inherent in this assignment was how to shoot proprietary cruise ship interiors that were not yet public and existed only as 3D graphic renders.  And the post schedule didn’t allow time to fully generate the characters from scratch in CG.  The solution was to shoot all the talent live in studio and add painterly animation on top the footage, giving the post team the head start they needed to successfully make the launch date.
